The new High Thrust T25 delivers the power and grip to manoeuvre heavier small vessels with exceptional efficiency. Based on the award winning F25, Yamaha developed the new T25 in response to requests for lightweight electronic fuel injected performance in a small, high-thrust configuration.
The new T25 benefits from the technology and features available
on the standard F25 model, including an exceptional power-to- weight ratio, variable trolling rpm control and the ability to connect to Yamaha’s Command Link Digital Gauges.
This T25 comes fitted with a dual thrust propeller, specifically tested and developed for this outboard. These big-diameter, low-pitch propellers offer exceptional thrust and efficiency
for pushing big loads in both forward and reverse.
At 64kgs the new T25 is 30 percent lighter than its predecessor, making it suitable for a wider range of applications and hulls. To keep weight down and efficiency up, the new T25 uses a twin cyclinder design with a single overhead camshaft, the same award winning design found in the F25.
With the latest technologies, ergonomic design and features, Yamaha's Multi-Function Tiller Handle delivers effortless control, maneuverability and comfort. Trim, shift, throttle, stop switch, variable trolling and integrated overheating and low oil pressure warning alerts are also built into the handle.
Yamaha’s variable trolling control allows you to precisely adjust the engine’s idling speed from 750 to 1050 RPM, in 50 RPM increments. The ability to finely tune the trolling speed allows fisherman to perfect their lure presentation when chasing different species of fish.
Yamaha's large-diameter, low-pitch dual-thrust propellers are designed to give instant power in both forward and reverse, by redirecting exhaust gases way from the propeller, reducing reverse ventilation and generating more power to the water. This design increases forward thrust by up to 60% and reverse thrust by up to 70%.
The Multi-Point Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system, in conjunction with the Engine Control Module (ECM), injects the right amount of fuel into the combustion chamber at the optimum timing. This results in ‘first-time, every-time’ hot and cold starting, improved fuel efficiency and excellent throttle response.
Simply connect a hose to the easy access connector to flush salt and dirt from the outboard without having to run the engine. Flushing the engine after each usage reduces corrosion and extends the engines life.
The new T25 features an alternator that produces up to 16 amps of power. That's 14 percent more output than that of the previous T25. There is ample electrical power for battery charging with plenty to spare for additional electronic equipment.
The larger diameter prop enables the outboard to push greater volumes of water and generate increased thrust.
The T25 engine is available as a mechanical forward-control option, suitable for center console and side console boats.
Yamaha’s push-button trim control makes engine trim and tilt adjustments quick, smooth and easy, across a wide trim range. The negative trim settings allow for improved acceleration and the ability to bring the boat onto the plane more quickly.
Yamaha engines are known for their durability and high re-sale value. Part of this lies in their anti-corrosion protection. A unique YDC-30 aluminium alloy and 5-stage painting process protect the engine's exterior parts, while high-quality marine grade stainless steel is used on all critical internal componentry - for long-lasting protection.
Yamaha offers a range of rigging options to suit every boat. Check out the full suite of controls, gauges, switches, props and other technologies, plus outboard performance data.
